Paris surroundings: the Vallée de Chevreuse, south-west of Paris. Beautiful hilly region with old medieval villages. On the way from Versailles to my home I will show you some fierce old castles perched on strategic hills : Chevreuse, Rochefort. We may visit a few lovely castles of the 17th century such as Dampierre, Breteuil (www.breteuil.fr) or beautiful medieval abbeys such as Vaux-de-Cernay (www.abbayedecernay.com).
Sabine’s home: located in Saint-Rémy-les-Chevreuse (15 miles from Paris).Our house is a quaint old house with a magnificent view on the Yvette valley, next to a watermill.
